"Absolutely superb. On a rainy day in Playa las Americas for my birthday, Bar Berlin really made my day. The staff had dressed the table with candles etc and were really welcoming. The food is delicious. Every dish we had was delightful. Best of all, the Bit burger was spot on. I'm a happy chap today."

And the 1liter beer, Tasted awesome but could have come with slightly more potatoes or fries. Also please note that they could only take cash and not card payments."

Great ambience, fantastic views of the sea and sunset, delicious German food and beer and a super friendly and courteous German-speaking team. You feel at home here. "Always like to visit a German Bar/restaurant when away on holiday – good to see Tenerife is no exception with a couple of choices. The Bar Berlin is upstairs, above some other restaurants on the beachfront – the entrance is narrow, but there is a man on the pavement who points the way up the stairs. Actually, visited here twice as was very impressed with the food, which was simple but authentically German – the Hamburg Schnitzel, topped with a fried egg and served with fried potatoes with bacon was superb. So good, in fact, I had it twice. Not too big either, which is a bonus. Also enjoyed some breaded cheese and a fantastic large bowl of padron peppers – peppers are simple, but these were well done. For the eating. The beer was Bitburger, which is a fine German lager – a lot of that was consumed. Sit and watch the beach whilst supping beer, always good to see. This place seems very popular with German holidaymakers, which is surely a good sign. Friendly and helpful staff. Doesn’t open in the daytime during the week – I think it was 17:30 most days."

"Deceptively large bar with angled terraces and two bar areas. Bitburger beer in first-class condition, good service. My partner had a Weinerschnizel which was perfectly cooked - she greatly enjoyed it. I had a Jaegerschitzel which was excellent. Both of us have travelled and hiked many trails in Germany and the food was as good as any we have ever eaten."

"Very nice place to watch bundesliga or drink a coffe or stop by for a beer. Sea view from the terrace. Cool owner wearing a st pauli shirt. Stuttgart best them that Friday night which lifted my mood. Gonna be back there for sure!"
